Jess is a rising senior at the University of North Georgia located in the southeast of the United States. She’s currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs with a regional concentration on Europe. She also serves as President of her university’s Model United Nations student organization while also serving as a student ambassador for their undergraduate research center. She also volunteers with a regional non-profit which hosts Model UN conferences for students across the southeast of the US. Her past research experience includes examining the rhetoric used by heads of states during the invasion of Ukraine as well as researching how disinformation impacts the international system. She’s excited to join the team for the summer as a selected intern for the Fulbright Canada – Mitacs Globalink Internship program!
