We would like to invite you to join us for our last CIC Winnipeg event of our 2020-2021 Speakers Program:
Evolving Canada-China-US Security & Economic Relationship and Canadian Foreign Policy

Panellists:

Prof. Dr. Lynette Ong is jointly appointed at the Department of Political Science and the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy Asian Institute.

Dr. Nong Hong holds a PhD of interdisciplinary study of international law and international relations from the University of Alberta. She is concurrently a research fellow with China Institute, University of Alberta, and the National Institute for South China Sea Studies, China.
Prof. Dr. Jermy Paltiel earned his PhD from California at Berkeley. He is a professor at Carleton University. His expertise is politics, government and foreign policies of Asia (China and Japan) and Development politics.
Prof. Dr. Shaun Narine has a PHD from the University of Toronto and serves as a professor at St Thomas University, Fredericton. He has written extensively on the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and other institutional arrangements in the Asia Pacific.
Moderator
Dr Radhika Desai was educated at the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, India, and Queen’s University at Kingston. She is a Professor at the Department of Political Studies, and Director, Geopolitical Economy Research Group, University of Manitoba. She has authored numerous books on geopolitical economy.
